As the main character, Akira has the Fool Arcana. This gives him the ability to summon any persona of any of the Arcanas. Despite this, Akira's true Persona is Arsène. He is capable of gaining new Persona/Masks through interrogations ("Hold Ups") in battle, or fusing two or more Persona together with the help of the Twins in the Velvet Room. Due to his late game canon point, Akira can hold up to Twelve Persona (all listed below).

• THIRD EYE:
Granted to him by Igor, Akira has a third eye/sense that allows him to see clues, treasures, or paths that would otherwise be hidden. It works while moving but can only be activated by Akira himself. Thus the others have to follow his instincts guiding them through Palaces.
Items of interest are gold, paths are blue, and hidden paths (usually vents) have a ripple effect.

• COGNITIVE MANIPULATION
Akira can change into his "Joker" appearance by changing how he is seen (or how others see him) in a cognitive sense. This also extends to the fact that even though he a model gun. if others think its real, it is. Basically this means he can change his own appearance and make people think he has real guns.

- Playable Protagonist
As the player can pick Akira's dialogue options, this Akira is played with a fair amount of sass. The more comfortable he is around your characters, the sassier he is. A bit of his characterization is also based on Persona 5: Day Breakers Animation. He may also have bits of personality quirks added in from the anime when it airs. He is played as deeply angry, anti-oppressive systems, and a bit of a maniac.
